01 Zero-Knowledge Principles
Nexo is architected so that your personal data and files remain strictly yours:
AES-256 Encryption
Files are encrypted with unique cryptographic keys. Storage systems only hold unreadable ciphertext.
No Ads or Trackers
Zero tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, or marketing trackers.
02 Data We Collect
We only collect the minimum information required to operate your vault:
- Account Credentials: Your email address and a salted, one-way cryptographic hash of your password.
- Vault Metadata: Basic file parameters (file name, file size, MIME category, and timestamp) required to render your interface.
- Anti-Abuse Telemetry: Transient, rate-limited network identifiers strictly used to stop automated bot attacks.
03 Storage & Security
We use enterprise-grade protocols to protect your files at all times:
- Encrypted Transit: All data is transmitted over strict TLS 1.3 encrypted connections.
- Encrypted at Rest: Stored files remain encrypted at all times in redundant, hardened cloud storage facilities.
04 Ownership & Hard Deletion
You retain 100% ownership of everything you store. When you delete a file or close your account, it is permanently purged immediately from all active databases and storage systems.
